My view of holistic health is the emphasis on natural remedies and lifestyle changes. Such changes can include food choices, exercise routines, stress-management techniques, and natural remedies like homeopathy, herbs and supplements to address health issues. By focusing on natural, non-invasive treatments, holistic health seeks to support the body’s own natural healing mechanisms and promote long-term wellness.
For example, holistic health practitioners may offer counseling, meditation or other techniques to help individuals manage stress, anxiety, and other emotional issues that can impact overall health. In all of this, we look to achieve a sense of balance and harmony in all aspects of our lives.
